This site pays tribute to the music producing skills of Bruce Kimmel who has contributed immensely to the preservation of the American Musical Theater. He has also given voice to an amazing repertoire of vocalist from the theater by recording them on his many Broadway compilation albums like the Lost in Boston series to the various Unsung Collections. There were jazz recordings from the Sondheim repertoire, Kander and Ebb's classic musicals Cabaret and Chicago and several others as well. He also returned to the long forgotten tradition of recording Broadway plays by recording the Tony award winning play Copenhagen. At the end of June 2005 Bruce Kimmel opened his new record label Kritzerland to carry on that tradition. He released his first two recordings, New Guy in Town (Guy Haines Solo Album) and After the Ball (Original Off-Broadway Cast). His new play Deceit opened in LA in January 2006 and had an extended run though April. He is also an author of the Benjamin Kritzer trilogy and two mysteries, Writer's Block and Rewind. He also recently staged Kevin Spirtas and Linda Purl's concert shows. He recently return to LACC as a teacher for Musical Theater. He most recently directed, co-wrote and composed the score for the new musical The Brain From Planet X which has its world premiere in LA in December 2006
