I did spoofs of coming attractions of shows that you were supposedly going to see on cable:  Elephant! a musical of The Elephant Man (long before The Tall Guy), starring Anthony Newley (in the role he was born to play), Carol Channing as The Actress, and Sammy Davis, Jr. as Dr. Treves.  We had look-alikes for Channing and Davis, I played Newley, and sportscaster Roy Firestone did the voices of Channing and Davis (I did Mr. Newley's voice).  Also, a sexy soap opera called The Lays of Our Lives, which featured Gerritt Graham, Deborah Lee Scott, and Timothy Carey.  I also wrote a spiffy James Bond song parody called Heartbreaker for one of the title sequences. My best contribution - a pretty amusing send up of Barry Manilow called Barry in Concert.  I played Barry, there were four musical numbers (it was a purported coming attraction for a cable concert) and my backup singers were Penny Peyser, Marsha Kramer and Gracie Moore
